After waking up to the music of honking horns, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at our hotel (Hotel Staywell Deluxe – for $52.36 for 2 nights), then set out to explore the city – starting with the Red Fort, explored Old Delhi, met up with one of Lisa’s friends, got some food from Natraj (a place recommended by Lonely Planet), and tried sharing an Uber ride for our first time – it was great! Always fun meeting and chatting with locals.
We also walked through the 5-star Imperial New Delhi hotel, and took lots of selfies with people asking for one.
