We started the day taking an Uber to the Gateway of India which was built to welcome the queen of England to India in the early 1900s. Then we started walking north, enjoying the sights along the way, working our way up to a cool looking bus terminal – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
Then we took another Uber over to a Hanging Garden, found a cool kids playground with a house in the shape of a boot – Kamala Nehru Park, and went for a walk along the Arabian Sea – Girgaon Chowpatty (well – technically the Back Bay, which opens up to the Arabian Sea).
That night, we moved to a different hotel that was closer to the airport – The Paradise by Tunga (for $56.84 for 1 night).
