Hotel Drama
Ok, so for whatever reason, we decided to try another hotel – J Boutique Hotel (now Stark Boutique Hotel & Spa), because it looked a little nicer than Kuta EcoStay Guest House and had similar wifi. But unfortunately, a weird booking glitch with Agoda resulted in a whole snafu that left a bad taste in our mouth. Fortunately, the manager was great. Unfortunately, he wasn’t reachable until morning and the drama damage had already been done. Looking back at this now, I think this was more an unfortunate problem that arose from a technical error and a language/communication barrier. It wasn’t actually that bad.
