Worth the price of admission?
Our hotel asked what we would like for breakfast the evening before…and delivered it to our room in the morning! So awesome! Unfortunately, Ubud’s local laws prevented us from hiring an Uber driver for the day, so we had to book a driver through our hotel. It was a little more expensive, but still very affordable ($33.92 for the day). Our hotel even gave us sarongs to borrow for our temple visit, and our driver helped us put them on – thank you!
We started by exploring Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (only took us about 30 minutes – with plenty of time to take photos and see everything at a relaxed pace). Then we continued on to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces (where we just saw it from a viewpoint), stopped by a waterfall (but decided not to pay the entry fee to go see it), and finished up checking out our driver’s village for a few minutes. It was a nice, relaxing tour day.
