Fjords of New Zealand
After waking up to another spectacular view of mountains and water at our second freedom camping spot, we drove down to Milford Sound, stopping at several scenic spots along the way (including Mirror Lakes). The water was sooo clean and turquoise, it looked like super clean and treated pool water – but it was all natural!
After enjoying the views in Milford Sound for a bit, we drove on to where they filmed the Dead Marshes and a River Crossing scene in The Lord of the Rings.
