Back to Australia
We planned our trip so that we could take the once per week AirAsia flight from Auckland to Gold Coast, Australia for $227.91 (for both of us). After checking out of our Airbnb and dropping off our rental car, we got some work done while waiting for our evening flight. It was pretty cool because we took off at sunset…and flew west, so we were in sunset for 2 hours! 🤯
When we arrived, we too a bus to a stop near our hotel – the Sunshine Beach Resort, where we spent 1 night for $60.45.
