On 3 hours of sleep…
We took a middle-of-the-night flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Manila, Philippines for $164.24 for 2 tickets and arrived running on only 2 hours of sleep. So we took a 1 hour nap in the airport, then got a Grab to our hotel (Leez Inn Manila – $41.21 for 2 nights), then explored some of Manila until it was time for us to check in to our hotel. As we walked around, everyone was so nice, smiling and greeting us cheerily in really good English.
Fun fact: one of the Philippines national languages is English 👍
After walking around the sites in Manila, we circled back to our hotel, Lisa took a nap, then we went back out to meet up with one of Jason’s nephews who lived in Manila – Jason, the guy that gave us a tour in Singapore, who is a cousin to one of Lisa’s dad’s good friends…cool connections!
