Work + Transit Day
In this video we had another work day at our hotel, then headed to the airport to fly out to Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. In total, we ended up staying at Big Dreams Residences for a total of 6 nights for a total of $126.47 (~$21.08/night).
From Cebu to Palawan, we flew via a really nicely decorated AirAsia plane for $182.69 (for 2 tickets). Lisa noted that the Manila metro population was about 20 million people, Cebu was about 2 million people, and Puerto Princesa is about 200,000 people…so chopping a zero off each stop.
Unfortunately, Grab rides were not available in Puerto Princesa, so we called our hotel to pick us up from the airport. The hotel we stayed at – the Deep Forest Garden Inn – was a very nicely themed resort-style hotel. But the prices for food were a bit more than they should be, so Peter went out and got some groceries. We also got some work done and booked our bus ride up to El Nido for the next day.
