Cooking Lesson & New Friends
After a chill morning and a little exploring all together, Rachel and I ventured off to explore more of Brussels…without Peter. Peter had been to Brussels about 8 years ago in college, so he opted to get some work done.
Then we met up with Rachel’s friends and had a girls cooking lesson. I was happy to be there, because the dish was FANTASTIC, plus it was so fun to make new friends. Some of the night was spent speaking French and some in English and it was just perfect! ~ Lisa

- We get a glimpse of how you move into an apartment in the big city
- See the Cinquantenaire, Brussels’ arches that are older than Berlin’s (so Belgium claims that Berlin copied them – haha so fun)
- Chill for a few minutes by a bunch of EU buildings, then we split up: Peter goes back to Rachel’s place to get some work done while Lisa and Rachel strike out on their own to explore more of the city themselves.
- Lisa and Rachel meet up with some of Rachel’s friends to cook a meal together.
