Lost Episode #36 – Exploring the “Pink City”
After relaxing and enjoying watching people bring in the new year flying kites on rooftops the day prior, we finally set out to explore the beautiful city of Jaipur, also known as “the pink city”. We loved wandering the streets finding interesting buildings and old palaces.
One of the iconic sites downtown is Hawa Mahal – a building built in really unique style of architecture. It’s so cool to see the variety of styles for buildings around the world.
Next, we took an Uber up to the Amber Palace – a massive fort on a hill, then stopped and saw the Jal Mahal on the way back – a palace in the middle of a lake.
