Shopping and more…
You can’t beat Vietnamese prices – $3 for a haircut (with tip), $2 for lunch (for two), $15 per night for a hotel with free laundry service – crazy! (AVA Saigon 2 Hotel – looks like they’re out of business now.)
In this video, we also went to Sài Gòn Square and bought two more Under Armour shirts, briefly checked out Ben Nghe Street Food Market (but quickly noticed it was more geared toward tourists than locals), then got to see the street transform into a massive night market in 20 minutes! (This was the Phan Boi Chau Night Market, but it looks like they no longer do this now.) It was so cool seeing everyone work so quickly to set everything up.
Next, we walked to the Sense Market, where we decided to get some Chicago-style deep dish pizza…because it had been forever since we had some and we were craving it.
