The Best Macaroons

Ok, “Life-changing food in Paris, France,” may be too dramatic, but we had the BEST crepe and the BEST macaroons we’ve ever had!

In this video:

  • Stopped by the Happy Caffe to pick up some lunch, then walk across the street to the Tuileries Garden to enjoy our food and wine. #FrenchStyle The guys at this cafe are awesome and so fun! If you are in Paris, you should stop by and buy some food from them – you’ll enjoy it! 😃
  • Then we hop on a metro and hike TONS of steps up to the Sacred Heart Basilica, better known as Sacré-Cœur. This trek was so worth the climb.
  • While you’re up here at the basilica, don’t miss the Place du Tertre, where you’ll find lots of local artists selling and creating art live – it’s a super-cool market.
  • Buy a baguette and pay by depositing our coins into a box – 1st time we’ve ever paid that way! Pretty cool.
  • Discovered Lisa’s FAVORITE macarons IN THE WORLD at Maison Georges Larnicol – we are SOOO coming back to Paris for more of these! 😋
  • Pick up some contact lens solution from a fancy pharmacy – where they had security guards who wore black ties!
  • Enjoy more of the Parisian city lights at night (including evening views of Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower).
  • Met some fellow American travelers – fun times!
