We Made it to Country #5!
We had heard that Ireland may be the craziest to rent from and sure enough! We actually did the hold in the local currency (€5,000), so our bill that Peter signed was over $6,000! CRAZY!
In this video:
- We fly from Glasgow to Dublin on our first Ryanair flight (Ryanair is awesome)
- We rent a candy apple red Renault Clio from Europcar in Dublin (we booked via Expedia for $75.14 for 7 days…but we had to sign for a €5,000 hold on our rental because we declined insurance since our Chase Sapphire Preferred card includes this benefit already)
- Drive around Dublin, then head north.
- Stop at a rest area to get some work done…and sleep 🙂
