Art. Airport. New city.
Before flying from Melbourne to Sydney, we took some time to explore the free National Gallery of Victoria – which was awesome! Then we got some work done in a Starbucks before hopping on a SkyBus to the Avalon airport to catch our Jetstar flight up to Sydney ($79.09). This little airport was super nice and had really fast wifi!
When we arrived in Sydney, it was already dark, so we just took an Uber to the nearest metro station to the airport, then took the metro to the closest stop to our hotel – the Panania Hotel (for $55/night). It was also a sports bar, so it was a bit noisy, but the right price.
