…and Taco Bell!

Ok, so up to this point we had been in the big cities and not seen wild kangaroos yet. So when our Airbnb host told us that several typically hang out at a local golf course, we jumped in the car with a zoom lens and went to see if we could see some…and we saw tons!

After our kangaroo excursion, we met up with relatives of some friends of ours, who drove us up to Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout – a nice overlook of the Brisbane skyline. There was also a nice visitor center and park that we walked around for a bit.

Next, we happened to drive by a Taco Bell. Since we hadn’t seen one in forever, we stopped in and found out it was the FIRST ONE in Australia and had just recently opened! Fun timing!

Finally, we made one last stop at Wild Horse Mountain Scenic Lookout (which included a bit of an uphill climb), then met up with our friends and hosts for the next couple of days.
