Chocolate and Lord of the Rings
After a restful night sleeping in our car along some water, we checked out Cadbury World Dunedin (which is now closed), then drove into the country to see where they had filmed scenes from Rohan and the Pillars of the Kings for The Lord of the Rings. Here’s the handy map we used to find these places. We ended the day in Queenstown, but hotels were sold out or priced a bit more than normal due to a race event that was happening. So we found another freedom camping spot nearby.
