Today, we took a Pegasus bus from Bucharest to Ruse for $24.01, then took a bus or train on to Sofia (I must have paid cash for this leg and not noted it in my records). Once in Sofia, we enjoyed exploring the beautiful city and spent the night at Scotty’s Boutique Hotel for $33.35, where we were introduced to our first wet bathroom.
