Proud Heritage
Ok, from our very first impression of Germany, we are thoroughly impressed and in love with the Germans. They are so efficient and organized – it’s awesome! Plus, when you think about how they’ve bounced back after several major setbacks (like a couple of world wars), it’s amazing. Germans are so resilient and enterprising – I love it and am proud to be 1/4th German 🙂 ~ Peter

- We take our first bus trip with Eurolines from Prague to Berlin for $35.42 (for 2 one-way tickets). Eurolines is our 2nd favorite bus line in Europe (after Flixbus).
- We LOVE the Berlin metro! Very well organized and kiosks at the main stations accept cards!
- Check-in to our hotel for the night – LebensQuelle (booked 1 night for $53.26 via Expedia)
- Walk down to Checkpoint Charlie
- Learned about the pink pipes of Berlin
