The decision to avoid toll roads in France added a few more hours of driving, but also allowed us to see such AMAZING and STUNNING scenery from Orleans to Lyon and Lyon to Nice. French villages, bakeries, castles, mountains, fall colors and more.~ Lisa

- Spent a night just outside Lyon, France at Adonis Lyon Est Hôtel Artys (booked via Expedia for $46.58 for 1 night)

- Sample some baked goodies from a small-town French bakery that was busy (a good sign that it’s good)
- Listen to some Adventures in Odyssey episodes
- Got a glimpse of the French Alps
- Stumble across the beautiful little town of Sisteron, France – the river was sooo blue here! We would love to come back and chill here for a bit 😎
- Park near Èze, France to sleep in the car for the night
