Lol…someone needs to seriously redesign the map of the Pompeii ruins. We were not the only ones confused. Definitely go to the main entrance and start there. The visitor center is where you want to start and has a cool intro video.
In these videos:
- We explore the Pompeii ruins…wondering around trying to find all the points we wanted to see.
- Then we hop on a train back up to Naples to try some pizza from the famous L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele – it was delicious and boy, was this place busy!
- Finally, we take a FlixBus all the way up to Florence (we paid $46.53 for 2 tickets) and checked into Hotel Victoria (booked via Expedia for 1 night for $59.66…it was a bit loud here, so not the best spot).
