To Homer and Back Again
We woke up at 6 AM to drive down to Homer and back to Anchorage in one day…the locals thought that was crazy! And it was definitely a lot in one day (and definitely not the most efficient trip planning ever…since we were in Seward and Whittier yesterday), but we enjoyed the adventure! The Alaskan Kenai Peninsula has some pretty amazing views!

- Drive to Homer, Alaska – “the halibut fishing capital of the world”
- Eat some fried halibut at Boardwalk Fish & Chips
- Stop by a fish market
- See the world record king salmon in Soldotna, Alaska
- And cap off the day with some sweets from Alaska Wild Berry Products – such a cool place!
