Classic Germany

What a LONG, fun day of exploring! We visited BMW’s main showroom – which I thought was going to be lame, but was really cool! Then quickly toured Munich, including a quick stop at Oktoberfest.

And then we did what we love best – got out in the country and drove more of the Romantic Road along the Bavarian alps where we ended at Neuschwanstein castle – better known as Sleeping Beauty’s castle! ~ Lisa

In this video:

  • We enjoy a nice breakfast with Oliver and Miriam
  • Some nice ladies helped us get the correct train ticket from a Munich train ticket kiosk
  • Visited the BMW Museum – which was really cool!
  • See a few sights in Munich and, of course, stop by the main Oktoberfest location 🍻
  • Learn that Germany does not like cards and REALLY likes cash. So when you visit be prepared to use cash almost everywhere. You won’t get to rack up as many credit card points and rewards here 😝
  • Drive through a few cute little German villages
  • Finally make it to Neuschwanstein Castle with just enough daylight to get some sweet photos and video footage…BUT we got separated, and unfortunately didn’t get a very good selfie together 😢
